yugādiṣu ca saṃpūjya hyayane dakṣiṇottare | āṣāḍhajyeṣṭhamāgheṣu pauṣādidvādaśīṣu ca

Translation

ਯੁਗਾਦਿ ਦੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਤੇ, ਦੱਖਣ ਅਤੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਅਯਨ ਦੇ ਸਮਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ, ਅਤੇ ਆਸ਼ਾਢ, ਜ੍ਯੇਸ਼ਠ, ਮਾਘ ਮਹੀਨਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ, ਅਤੇ ਪੌਸ਼ ਆਦਿ ਦੀਆਂ ਦ੍ਵਾਦਸ਼ੀ ਵਰਤ-ਤਿਥੀਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਯਥਾਵਿਧਿ ਪੂਜਾ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਮਹਾਨ ਪੁੰਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
