पश्चिमस्य समुद्रस्य तीरमाश्रित्य तिष्ठति । कुशस्थलीति या पूर्वं कुशेन स्थापिता पुरी
paścimasya samudrasya tīramāśritya tiṣṭhati | kuśasthalīti yā pūrvaṃ kuśena sthāpitā purī
ਪੱਛਮੀ ਸਮੁੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਤਟ ਦਾ ਆਸਰਾ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਨਗਰੀ ਵੱਸਦੀ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ‘ਕੁਸ਼ਸਥਲੀ’ ਕਹੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਸੀ—ਕੁਸ਼ਾ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਚੀਨ ਕਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਪੁਰੀ।
