सुप्रसन्नो बभूवाथ स मुनिः शंकरांशजः । भुक्त्वा तस्मै वरं दत्त्वा स्वाभीष्टं स्वालयं ययौ
suprasanno babhūvātha sa muniḥ śaṃkarāṃśajaḥ | bhuktvā tasmai varaṃ dattvā svābhīṣṭaṃ svālayaṃ yayau
ਫਿਰ ਸ਼ੰਕਰ ਦੇ ਅੰਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਉਤਪੰਨ ਉਹ ਮੁਨੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋਇਆ। ਆਤਿਥ੍ਯ ਸਵੀਕਾਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਨਚਾਹਾ ਵਰ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪ੍ਰਿਯ ਧਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਚਲਾ ਗਿਆ।

In Śaiva tradition, serving Śiva’s devotees is treated as service to Saguna Śiva Himself; such devotion complements Liṅga worship by expressing reverence to the living presence of Śiva’s grace in His followers.
Practice bhakti through atithi-sevā (reverent hospitality) to Śiva-bhaktas, along with remembrance of Śiva—such as japa of the Pañcākṣarī mantra “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—as a simple, daily discipline supporting purity and receptivity to grace.
