गृहस्थ-जीवनसंस्काराः तथा पुत्रजन्म-शुभलक्षणवर्णनम् / Household Saṃskāras and the Auspicious Portents of a Son’s Birth

इति नाम ददौ तस्मै देयमेकादशेऽहनि । नामकर्मविधानेन तदर्थश्रुतिमुच्चरन्

ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਬਾਲਕ ਨੂੰ ਨਾਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ—ਜੋ ਗਿਆਰ੍ਹਵੇਂ ਦਿਨ ਦੇਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਨਾਮਕਰਮ ਦੀ ਵਿਧੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਉਸ ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਅਰਥ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੁਤੀ ਦਾ ਉਚਾਰਣ ਕੀਤਾ।
