It emphasizes that mantra-japa and a clear verbal declaration (sankalpa/statement of performance) complete a rite, aligning action with intention—an essential discipline for purity and merit in Shaiva Dharma.
In the Shaiva Siddhanta spirit, correct ritual performance—preceded by mantra-japa and concluded with proper declaration—supports saguna worship as a structured means to purify the devotee and orient the mind toward Shiva.
It directly indicates japa (mantra recitation) followed by formally stating that the Nāndīmukha-śrāddha has been performed according to injunction—highlighting disciplined ritual completion.
