विश्वस्य हि प्रचेतसा वरुण मित्र राजथः । ईशाना पिप्यतं धियः ॥
Transliteration
viśvásya hí prá-cetasā varuṇa mítra rājathaḥ | īśānā́ pipyatáṃ dhíyaḥ ||
Translation
ਹੇ ਵਰੁਣ ਅਤੇ ਮਿਤ੍ਰ, ਤੁਸੀਂ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਸਭ ਦੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ-ਜਾਗਰੂਕ ਰਾਜੇ ਹੋ; ਅਧੀਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਸਾਡੀਆਂ ਧਿਯਾਂ (ਵਿਚਾਰ-ਬੁੱਧੀ) ਨੂੰ ਪਾਲੋ—ਤ ਦੀ ਸਮ੍ਰਿੱਧੀ ਨਾਲ ਬੁੱਧੀ ਨੂੰ ਪਰਿਪੂਰਨ ਕਰੋ।
