Sukta 2.17
भोजं त्वामिन्द्र वयं हुवेम ददिष्ट्वमिन्द्रापांसि वाजान् । अविड्ढीन्द्र चित्रया न ऊती कृधि वृषन्निन्द्र वस्यसो नः ॥
bhójāṃ tvām indra vayáṃ huvema dadíṣ ṭvám indrāpā́ṃsi vā́jān | avíḍḍhīndra citráyā na ū́tī́ kṛdhí vṛṣann indra vásyaso naḥ ||
ਹੇ ਇੰਦਰ, ਭੋਜ (ਆਨੰਦ-ਦਾਤਾ) ਅਤੇ ਸਮ੍ਰਿੱਧੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਅਸੀਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਸੱਦਦੇ ਹਾਂ; ਹੇ ਇੰਦਰ, ਤੂੰ ਹੀ ਅਪਾਂਸਿ (ਕਰਮ) ਅਤੇ ਵਾਜ (ਵਾਜ-ਸ਼ਕਤੀ) ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਦਾ ਹੈਂ। ਹੇ ਇੰਦਰ, ਆਪਣੀ ਚਿਤ੍ਰ (ਉਜਲੀ, ਵਿਭਿੰਨ) ਊਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਡੇ ਲਈ ਭੇਦ ਕੇ ਰਾਹ ਕਰ; ਹੇ ਵ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਇੰਦਰ, ਸਾਨੂੰ ਵਸ੍ਯਸ੍ (ਉੱਤਮ ਅਵਸਥਾ) ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਬਣਾ।
