Transliteration

śayane cottamāṅgena sītāyāḥ śobhitaṃ purā |

takṣakasyeva sambhogagaṅgājalaniṣecitam ||6.21.5||

Translation

ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਸ਼ਯਿਆ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼੍ਰਾਮ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਉਹ ਸੀਤਾ ਦੇਵੀ ਦੇ ਉੱਤਮ ਅੰਗ-ਸਪਰਸ਼ ਨਾਲ ਸ਼ੋਭਿਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ; ਜਿਵੇਂ ਤਕਸ਼ਕ ਦੇ ਸੰਭੋਗ ਸਮਾਨ ਮਿਲਾਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੰਗਾ-ਜਲ ਨਾਲ ਸਿੰਚਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ।
