रावणक्रोधः—रामस्य परुषवाक्यम्
Ravana’s Fury and Rama’s Harsh Admonition
क्षिप्ताःश्चाशुशरास्तेनशस्त्राणिविविधानि च ।मरणार्थायवर्तन्तेमृत्युकालोऽभ्यवर्तत ।।।।
kṣiptāś cāśu śarās tena śastrāṇi vividhāni ca |
maraṇārthāya vartante mṛtyu-kālo ’bhyavartata ||
ਉਸ ਨੇ ਜੋ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਛੱਡੇ ਤੀਰ ਅਤੇ ਅਨੇਕ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਅਸਤ੍ਰ ਸੁੱਟੇ, ਉਹ ਸਭ ਨਿਸ਼ਫਲ ਹੋ ਗਏ; ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਅੰਤ ਮੌਤ ਹੀ ਸੀ, ਅਤੇ ਮੌਤ ਦਾ ਨਿਯਤ ਸਮਾਂ ਨੇੜੇ ਆ ਪਹੁੰਚਿਆ।
