The Intensification of the Rama–Ravana Duel
तयोर्भूतानिवित्रेसुर्युगपत्सम्प्रयुध्यतोः ।रौद्रयोःसायकमुचोर्यमान्तकनिकाशयोः ।।6.100.27।।
tayor bhūtāni vitresur yugapat samprayudhyatoḥ |
raudrayoḥ sāyakamucor yamāntaka-nikāśayoḥ ||6.100.27||
ਯਮ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਤਕ ਵਰਗੇ ਉਹ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਰੌਦ੍ਰ ਧਨੁਰਧਰ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਜੰਗ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ, ਇਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਤੀਰ ਛੱਡਦੇ ਸਨ; ਇਹ ਵੇਖ ਕੇ ਸਭ ਜੀਵ ਭੈ ਨਾਲ ਕੰਬ ਉਠੇ—ਜਿਵੇਂ ਜਗਤ ਦੇ ਅੰਤ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ।
