Hanuman’s Deliberation on How to Address Sita
अवश्यमेव वक्तव्यं मानुषं वाक्यमर्थवत्।।।।मया सान्त्वयितुं शक्या नान्यथेयमनिन्दिता।
avaśyam eva vaktavyaṃ mānuṣaṃ vākyam arthavat | mayā sāntvayituṃ śakyā nānyathā iyam aninditā ||
ਨਿਸਚਿਤ ਹੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਬੋਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਰਥਭਰੇ ਬਚਨ ਕਹਿਣੇ ਪੈਣਗੇ; ਇਸ ਨਿੰਦਾਰਹਿਤ ਦੇਵੀ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਂ ਇਉਂ ਹੀ ਸਾਂਤਵਨਾ ਦੇ ਸਕਦਾ ਹਾਂ—ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਰਾਹ ਨਹੀਂ।
