शतकोटिसहस्राणि लङ्कायां किल राक्षसाः।आयुतानि च षट्त्रिंशत्सहस्राणि शतानि च।।।।

Transliteration

śatakoṭisahasrāṇi laṅkāyāṃ kila rākṣasāḥ | āyutāni ca ṣaṭtriṃśat-sahasrāṇi śatāni ca ||

Translation

ਲੰਕਾ ਵਿੱਚ, ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਰਾਖਸ਼ਸ ‘ਸ਼ਤਕੋਟੀ ਸਹਸ੍ਰ’ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਦੇ ਹਨ; ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਅਯੁਤ, ਛੱਤੀ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ, ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੈਂਕੜੇ—ਇੱਕ ਅਤਿ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਫੌਜ।
