जीवितान्तकरं घोरं सादृश्यात्तु विशङ्कितः।मूलघातो न नौ स्याद्धि द्वयोरपि कृतो मया4.12.33।।
jīvitānta-karaṁ ghoraṁ sādṛśyāt tu viśaṅkitaḥ |
mūla-ghāto na nau syād dhi dvayor api kṛto mayā || 4.12.33 ||
ਉਸ ਸਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਤਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਮੈਂ ਸ਼ੰਕਿਤ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ: ਕਿਤੇ ਭਿਆਨਕ, ਜੀਵਨ-ਅੰਤਕ ਪ੍ਰਹਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਮੈਂ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਇੱਕ ਨੂੰ ਘਾਇਲ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਾਰਜ ਦੀ ਜੜ੍ਹ ਉੱਤੇ ਹੀ ਵਾਰ ਨਾ ਕਰ ਬੈਠਾਂ—ਅਤੇ ਦੋਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਹਿਤ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਨਾ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇ।
