Transliteration

bhavantaḥ śrutadharmāṇo lokacāritravidinaḥ | samādiśantu niyamaṃ prāyaścittaṃ yathā bhavet ||

Translation

“ਤੁਸੀਂ ਸ਼੍ਰੁਤ-ਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕ-ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਦੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰ ਹੋ। ਪ੍ਰਾਯਸ਼ਚਿੱਤ ਪੂਰਾ ਹੋਵੇ, ਐਸਾ ਕਿਹੜਾ ਨਿਯਮ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ—ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਦੇਸ਼ ਦਿਓ।”
