बालकाण्ड ५६: विश्वामित्र–वसिष्ठ अस्त्रसंघर्षः
Visvamitra and Vasistha: Contest of Divine Weapons
ततोऽस्तुवन् मुनिगणा वसिष्ठं जपतां वरम्।अमोघं ते बलं ब्रह्मन् तेजो धारय तेजसा।।।।
tato ’stuvan munigaṇā vasiṣṭhaṃ japatāṃ varam |
amoghaṃ te balaṃ brahman tejo dhāraya tejasā ||
ਤਦੋਂ ਮੁਨੀ-ਗਣਾਂ ਨੇ ਜਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ ਵਸਿਸ਼ਠ ਦੀ ਸ্তুਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ: “ਹੇ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ, ਤੇਰਾ ਬਲ ਅਮੋਘ ਹੈ; ਆਪਣੇ ਹੀ ਤੇਜ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਤੇਜ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਯਮ ਕਰ।”
