pūjito 'haṃ tvayā brahman pūjārheṇa susatkṛtaḥ |

śrūyatām abhidhāsyāmi vākyaṃ vākyaviśārada || 1.53.8 ||

Translation

ਹੇ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ, ਪੂਜਣਯੋਗ ਤੁਸੀਂ; ਤੁਸੀਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਯਥਾਵਿਧੀ ਪੂਜ ਕੇ ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਤਿਕਾਰਿਆ ਹੈ। ਹੇ ਵਾਕ-ਨਿਪੁਣ, ਸੁਣੋ—ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਹਿੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
