The Request for Śabalā and Vasiṣṭha’s Refusal
वसिष्ठेनैवमुक्तस्तु विश्वामित्रोऽब्रवीत्तत:।संरब्धतरमत्यर्थं वाक्यं वाक्यविशारद:।।1.53.16।।
vasiṣṭhenaivam uktas tu viśvāmitro ’bravīt tataḥ | saṃrabdhataraṃ atyarthaṃ vākyaṃ vākyaviśāradaḥ ||
ਵਸਿਸ਼ਠ ਦੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਹਿਣ ਉਪਰੰਤ, ਬੋਲਚਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਪੁਣ ਵਿਸ਼ਵਾਮਿਤ੍ਰ ਅਤਿ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਉਗ੍ਰ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਉੱਤਰ ਬੋਲਿਆ।
