दुर्गगम्भीरपरिघां दुर्गामन्यैर्दुरासदाम् ।वाजिवारणसम्पूर्णां गोभिरुष्ट्रै: खरैस्तथा ।।।।

durgagambhīraparighāṁ durgām anyair durāsadām | vājivāraṇasampūrṇāṁ gobhir uṣṭraiḥ kharais tathā ||

ਉਹ ਇੱਕ ਦੁਰਗ ਸੀ—ਗੰਭੀਰ ਪਰਿਘ (ਖਾਈ) ਅਤੇ ਦ੍ਰਿੜ੍ਹ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਨਾਲ ਯੁਕਤ, ਹੋਰਾਂ ਲਈ ਦੁਰਾਸਦ; ਘੋੜਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਹਾਥੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰੀ, ਅਤੇ ਗਾਂਵਾਂ, ਊਠਾਂ ਤੇ ਖੱਚਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਸਮ੍ਰਿੱਧ ਸੀ।
