tasya tadvacanaṃ śrutvā rāmasya munipuṅgavaḥ | ākhyātuṃ tatsamārebhe viśālasya purātanam ||

ਰਾਮ ਦੇ ਉਹ ਬਚਨ ਸੁਣ ਕੇ ਮੁਨੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ ਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਨੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲਾ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਚੀਨ ਕਥਾ ਸੁਣਾਉਣੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤੀ।
