सिद्धाश्रम-प्रसङ्गः
Siddhashrama and the Vāmana Narrative
एष पूर्वाश्रमो राम वामनस्य महात्मन:।।1.29.3।।सिद्धाश्रम इति ख्यातस्सिद्धो ह्यत्र महातपा:।
adyaiva dīkṣāṃ praviśa bhadraṃ te munipuṅgava |
siddhāśramo 'yaṃ siddhaḥ syāt satyam astu vacas tava || 1.29.29 ||
“ਹੇ ਮੁਨਿਪੁੰਗਵ! ਅੱਜ ਹੀ ਦੀਕਸ਼ਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸ਼ ਕਰੋ; ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਮੰਗਲ ਹੋਵੇ। ਇਹ ਸਿੱਧਾਸ਼੍ਰਮ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਿੱਧ ਹੋ ਜਾਵੇ; ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਬਚਨ ਸੱਚ ਸਾਬਤ ਹੋਵੇ।”
"O Rama! this was the hermitage of glorious Vamana. The great sage her performed his ascetic pratices here, hence it is known as siddhashrama.
