Bestowal of Divine Astras to Rama
अशनी द्वे प्रयच्छामि शुष्कार्द्रे रघुनन्दन।।।।ददामि चास्त्रं पैनाकमस्त्रं नारायणं तथा।
aśanī dve prayacchāmi śuṣkārdrē raghunandana |
dadāmi cāstraṃ painākam astraṃ nārāyaṇaṃ tathā ||
ਹੇ ਰਘੁਨੰਦਨ! ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਦੋ ਅਸ਼ਨੀ (ਵਜ੍ਰ) ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਦਾ ਹਾਂ—ਸ਼ੁਸ਼ਕ ਅਤੇ ਆਰਦ੍ਰ। ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਪੈਨਾਕ ਅਸਤ੍ਰ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਰਾਇਣ ਅਸਤ੍ਰ ਵੀ ਅਰਪਣ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
O descendant of Raghu! I shall grant you two thunderbolts named shuska and ardra (dry and wet), painaka astra and narayanaastra.
