द्वितीयः सर्गः — श्लोकप्रादुर्भावः
The Manifestation of the Śloka
तमुवाच ततो ब्रह्मा प्रहसन्मुनिपुङ्गवम् ।श्लोक एव त्वया बद्धो नात्र कार्या विचारणा ।।1.2.30।।
tam uvāca tato brahmā prahasan muni-puṅgavam | śloka eva tvayā baddho nātra kāryā vicāraṇā || 1.2.30 ||
ਫਿਰ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾ ਜੀ ਹੱਸਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਉਸ ਮੁਨਿਸ਼੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ ਨੂੰ ਬੋਲੇ: “ਇਹ ਨਿਸ਼ਚੇ ਹੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਬੱਧ ਕੀਤਾ ਸ਼ਲੋਕ ਹੈ; ਇੱਥੇ ਕੋਈ ਵਿਚਾਰ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਨਹੀਂ।”
Thereafter lord Brahma smilingly addressed Valmiki, the pre-eminent among sages, saying, "You have indeed composed a sloka.There is no doubt about it".
Dharma is aligned with satya and clarity: Brahmā removes doubt and affirms the legitimacy of truthful, divinely guided speech.
Brahmā appears to Vālmīki after the spontaneous verse arises, validating it as a proper śloka.
Vālmīki’s inspired integrity as a seer-poet, and Brahmā’s role as confirmer of right knowledge.
