Bālakāṇḍa 18
यदा हि हयमारूढो मृगयां याति राघव:।।।।तदैनं पृष्ठतोऽन्वेति सधनु: परिपालयन्।
yadā hi hayamārūḍho mṛgayāṁ yāti rāghavaḥ ||
tadainaṁ pṛṣṭhato ’nveti sadhanuḥ paripālayan ||
ਜਦੋਂ ਵੀ ਰਾਘਵ (ਰਾਮ) ਘੋੜੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਸ਼ਿਕਾਰ ਲਈ ਜਾਂਦਾ, ਤਦੋਂ ਲਕਸ਼ਮਣ ਧਨੁਸ਼ ਹੱਥ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਪਿੱਛੇ-ਪਿੱਛੇ ਚਲਦਾ।
