Bālakāṇḍa 18

रथ्याश्च जनसम्बाधा नटनर्तकसङ्कुला: ।गायनैश्च विराविण्यो वादनैश्च तथाऽपरै:।।।।

rathyāś ca janasambādhā naṭanartakasaṅkulāḥ |

gāyanaiś ca virāviṇyo vādanaiś ca tathā ’paraiḥ ||

ਗਲੀਆਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਭੀੜ ਨਾਲ ਠਸਾ-ਠਸ ਭਰ ਗਈਆਂ; ਨਟਾਂ ਤੇ ਨਰਤਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਕਿੱਖਰ ਗਈਆਂ; ਗਾਇਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਗੀਤਾਂ, ਵਾਜਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਧੁਨ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਕਲਾਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ੋਰ ਨਾਲ ਹਰ ਪਾਸੇ ਗੂੰਜ ਉਠਿਆ।
