ऋश्यशृङ्ग-आनयनम्
Bringing Ṛśyaśṛṅga to Aṅga and His Marriage to Śāntā
पिता विभण्डकोऽस्माकं तस्याहं सुत औरस:।ऋश्यशृङ्ग इति ख्यातं नाम कर्म च मे भुवि।।।।
pitā vibhaṇḍako ’smākaṃ tasyāhaṃ suta aurasaḥ |
ṛśyaśṛṅga iti khyātaṃ nāma karma ca me bhuvi ||
ਸਾਡੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਵਿਭਾਂਡਕ ਹਨ, ਅਤੇ ਮੈਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਹੀ ਔਰਸ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹਾਂ। ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ ‘ਸ਼੍ਯਸ਼੍ਰਿੰਗ’ ਵਜੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਹੈ—ਮੇਰੇ ਕਰਮ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਗ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜਿਆ ਨਾਮ।
