भरतवाक्यं—रामस्य पुनरायोध्यागमननिषेधः
Bharata’s Plea and Rama’s Refusal to Return
शिरसा त्वाऽभियाचेऽहं कुरुष्व करुणां मयि।बान्धवेषु च सर्वेषु भूतेष्विव महेश्वरः।।।।
śirasā tvā ’bhiyāce ’haṃ kuruṣva karuṇāṃ mayi | bāndhaveṣu ca sarveṣu bhūteṣv iva maheśvaraḥ ||
ਮੈਂ ਸਿਰ ਨਿਵਾ ਕੇ ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ—ਮੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਸਭ ਬਾਂਧਵਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਰੁਣਾ ਕਰੋ; ਜਿਵੇਂ ਮਹੇਸ਼ਵਰ ਸਭ ਜੀਵਾਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਦਇਆ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
