भरतवाक्यं—रामस्य पुनरायोध्यागमननिषेधः
Bharata’s Plea and Rama’s Refusal to Return
हीनबुद्धिगुणो बालो हीनः स्थानेन चाप्यहम्।भवता च विनाभूतो न वर्तयितुमुत्सुहे।।।।
hīna-buddhi-guṇo bālo hīnaḥ sthānena cāpy aham |
bhavatā ca vinābhūto na vartayitum utsahe ||
ਮੈਂ ਬਾਲਕ ਹਾਂ; ਬੁੱਧੀ ਤੇ ਗੁਣਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੀਂਨ ਹਾਂ, ਅਤੇ ਪਦਵੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਨੀਵਾਂ ਹਾਂ। ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਤੋਂ ਵਿਛੁੜ ਕੇ ਤਾਂ ਜੀਉਣ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਛਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ।
