भूयश्च श्रोतुमिच्छामि तन्मे कथय नारद । नर्मदायाश्च माहात्म्यं वसिष्ठोक्तं द्विजोत्तम

bhūyaśca śrotumicchāmi tanme kathaya nārada | narmadāyāśca māhātmyaṃ vasiṣṭhoktaṃ dvijottama

ਮੈਂ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਸੁਣਨਾ ਚਾਹੁੰਦਾ ਹਾਂ—ਹੇ ਨਾਰਦ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਕਥਾ ਸੁਣਾ। ਅਤੇ ਹੇ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ, ਵਸਿਸ਼ਠ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਕਿਹਾ ਨਰਮਦਾ ਦਾ ਮਹਾਤਮ੍ਯ ਵੀ ਦੱਸ।
