तवयद्दनुजेंद्र नाशनं कवयो वर्णयितुं समुत्सुकाः । प्रलये जगतांततीः पुनर्ग्रससे त्वं भुवनेशलीलया

tavayaddanujeṃdra nāśanaṃ kavayo varṇayituṃ samutsukāḥ | pralaye jagatāṃtatīḥ punargrasase tvaṃ bhuvaneśalīlayā

ਹੇ ਦਾਨੁਜ-ਇੰਦਰ ਦੇ ਨਾਸ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ! ਕਵੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਉਸ ਸੰਹਾਰ ਦਾ ਵਰਣਨ ਕਰਨ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸੁਕ ਹਨ। ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਲਯ ਵੇਲੇ, ਹੇ ਭੁਵਨੇਸ਼! ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਲੀਲਾ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਫਿਰ ਸੰਸਾਰਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਣਗਿਣਤ ਪੰਕਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਿਗਲ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈਂ।
