सोमेनैव भवेद्राजन्किंकृतैर्व्रतकोटिभिः । नवम्यामुदयात्किंचित्सोमे सापि बुधेऽपि च
somenaiva bhavedrājankiṃkṛtairvratakoṭibhiḥ | navamyāmudayātkiṃcitsome sāpi budhe'pi ca
ਹੇ ਰਾਜਨ, ਸੋਮ (ਚੰਦਰਮਾ) ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਇਹ ਸਿੱਧ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ—ਕਰੋੜਾਂ ਵਰਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਕੀ ਲੋੜ? ਨਵਮੀ ਦੇ ਉਦਯ ਤੋਂ ਅੱਗੇ ਥੋੜ੍ਹਾ ਜਿਹਾ ਪੁੰਨ ਵੀ ਸੋਮ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਮਿਲਦਾ ਹੈ; ਅਤੇ ਉਹੀ ਲਾਭ ਬੁੱਧ (ਬੁੱਧਵਾਰ) ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
