The Greatness of Hari’s Janmāṣṭamī (Jayantī) Vow

सूत उवाच । कृष्णजन्माष्टमीं ब्रह्मन्भक्त्या करोति यो नरः । अंते विष्णुपुरं याति कुलकोटियुतो द्विज

sūta uvāca | kṛṣṇajanmāṣṭamīṃ brahmanbhaktyā karoti yo naraḥ | aṃte viṣṇupuraṃ yāti kulakoṭiyuto dvija

ਸੂਤ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ: ਹੇ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ! ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਭਗਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਨ ਜਨਮਾਸ਼ਟਮੀ ਦਾ ਵਰਤ/ਉਪਵਾਸ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਅੰਤ ਵੇਲੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਣੁ-ਪੁਰ ਨੂੰ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਹੇ ਦਵਿਜ, ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਨਾਲ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਕੁਲ-ਪਰੰਪਰਾ ਦੇ ਕਰੋੜਾਂ ਦਾ ਪੁੰਨ ਜੁੜਦਾ ਹੈ।
