न करोषि द्विजश्रेष्ठ संविदं ह्यन्यथा क्वचित् । मद्वाक्ये भवता स्थेयं सर्वकृत्येषु मानद ॥ ८६ ॥

Transliteration

na karoṣi dvijaśreṣṭha saṃvidaṃ hyanyathā kvacit | madvākye bhavatā stheyaṃ sarvakṛtyeṣu mānada || 86 ||

Translation

ਹੇ ਦ੍ਵਿਜ-ਸ਼੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ, ਇਸ ਸਮਝੌਤੇ ਨੂੰ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਹੋਰ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾ ਕਰੀਂ। ਹੇ ਮਾਨਦ, ਹਰ ਕੰਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਬਚਨ ਉੱਤੇ ਅਡਿੱਗ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
