The Narrative of the Pativrata
तस्याः स्नेहवियोगार्थं तप्यते ताम्रभ्राष्टके । यथा सुखं भवेद्भर्तुस्तथा कार्यं हि भार्यया ॥ ५४ ॥
tasyāḥ snehaviyogārthaṃ tapyate tāmrabhrāṣṭake | yathā sukhaṃ bhavedbhartustathā kāryaṃ hi bhāryayā || 54 ||
ਉਸ ਦੀ ਅਤਿ-ਮੋਹਤਾ ਛੁਡਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਤਪੇ ਤਾਂਬੇ ਦੇ ਪਾਤਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਤੜਪਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਪਤਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਐਸਾ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਪਤੀ ਦਾ ਹਿਤ ਤੇ ਸੁਖ ਬਣਿਆ ਰਹੇ।
