अध्याय ५०: उत्तरेण सह अर्जुनस्य रथप्रयाणे ध्वजचिह्नैः कौरवसेनानिर्देशः
Arjuna directs Uttara by identifying Kaurava commanders through banners
वर्तमाना यथाशास्त्र प्राप्प चापि महीमिमाम् । सत्कुर्वन्ति महाभागा गुरून् सुविगुणानपि
vartamānā yathāśāstraṁ prāpya cāpi mahīm imām | satkurvanti mahābhāgā gurūn suviguṇān api ||
ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਸ਼ਾਸਤਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਆਗਿਆ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਵਰਤਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਮਹਾਂਭਾਗ ਅਤੇ ਸੌਭਾਗੇਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਪੁਰਖ ਨਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਧਰਤੀ ਦਾ ਰਾਜ ਪਾ ਲੈਣ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਵੀ, ਗੁਣਹੀਣ ਗੁਰੂਆਂ ਦਾ ਭੀ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਪਰ ਇੱਥੇ ਤਾਂ ਅਨਿਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲੇ ਰਾਜ ਕਾਰਨ ਗੁਣਵਾਨ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗ-ਗੁਰੂਆਂ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਬੇਅਦਬੀ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
