वर्णावकाशमपि मे पश्य पाण्डव यादृशम् । तादृशो मे न तत्रासीद् दु:खे परमके तदा
varṇāvakāśam api me paśya pāṇḍava yādṛśam | tādṛśo me na tatrāsīd duḥkhe paramake tadā
ਹੇ ਪਾਂਡਵ! ਵੇਖ, ਹੁਣ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਬੋਲਣ ਤੇ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਜਿੰਨਾ ਕੁ ਥੋੜ੍ਹਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਹੈ; ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਪਰਮ ਦੁੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਉਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਮੌਕਾ ਵੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ।
