युधिष्ठिरस्य अर्जुनप्रेषण-युक्तिवर्णनम् | Yudhiṣṭhira’s Rationale for Sending Arjuna and Request to Dhaumya
तत्र विष्णु: प्रसादार्थ रुद्रमाराधयत् पुरा । वरांश्व सुबहूँल्लेभे दैवतेषु सुदुर्लभान्
tatra viṣṇuḥ prasādārthaṁ rudram ārādhayat purā | varāṁś ca subahūn lebhe daivateṣu sudurlabhān | tad-anantaraṁ tribhuvana-vikhyāta-suvarṇa-tīrthakī yātrā kare |
ਉੱਥੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਚੀਨ ਸਮੇਂ ਭਗਵਾਨ ਵਿਸ਼ਨੂ ਨੇ ਰੁਦ੍ਰਦੇਵ ਦੀ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਲਈ ਉਪਾਸਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਅਨੇਕ ਵਰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕੀਤੇ, ਜੋ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਦੁਰਲਭ ਹਨ।
