युधिछ्िर उवाच सरस्येकेन पादेन तिष्ठन्तमपराजितम् | पृच्छामि को भवान् देवो न मे यक्षो मतो भवान्,युधिष्ठिर बोले--इस सरोवरमें एक पैरसे खड़े हुए, किसीसे भी पराजित न होनेवाले आपसे मैं पूछता हूँ--आप कौन देवश्रेष्ठ हैं? मुझे तो आप यक्ष नहीं मालूम होते
yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | sarasy ekena pādena tiṣṭhantam aparājitam | pṛcchāmi ko bhavān devo na me yakṣo mato bhavān ||
ਯੁਧਿਸ਼ਠਿਰ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ—ਇਸ ਸਰੋਵਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਕ ਪੈਰ ਉੱਤੇ ਖੜੇ, ਸਭ ਤੋਂ ਅਜਿੱਤ ਦੇਵਸ਼੍ਰੇਸ਼ਠ! ਮੈਂ ਪੁੱਛਦਾ ਹਾਂ—ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕੌਣ ਹੋ? ਮੈਨੂੰ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਯਕਸ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਲੱਗਦੇ।
