द्रौपदी–सत्यभामा संवादः
Draupadī and Satyabhāmā on ethical household conduct
अग्निर्यश्न शिवो नाम शक्तिपूजापरश्न सः | दुःखार्तानां च सर्वेषां शिवकृत् सततं शिव:
agnir yaḥ śivo nāma śaktipūjāparaś ca saḥ | duḥkhārtānāṃ ca sarveṣāṃ śivakṛt satataṃ śivaḥ ||
ਮਾਰਕੰਡੇਯ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ— ਜੋ ਅਗਨਿ ‘ਸ਼ਿਵ’ ਨਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ ਹੈ, ਉਹ ਸਦਾ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ-ਪੂਜਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਰਾਇਣ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹ ਦੁੱਖ ਨਾਲ ਆਰਤ ਸਭਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਰੰਤਰ ਭਲਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ; ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ‘ਸ਼ਿਵ’—ਕਲਿਆਣਕਾਰੀ—ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
