नारदेन गरुडात्मजानां नामकीर्तनम् | Nārada’s Enumeration of Garuḍa’s Descendants
नित्यानुषक्तवैरा हि भ्रातरो देवदानवा: । परपक्षेण सम्बन्धं रोचयिष्याम्यहं कथम्
nityānuṣaktavairā hi bhrātaro devadānavāḥ | parapakṣeṇa sambandhaṃ rocayiṣyāmy ahaṃ katham ||
ਨਾਰਦ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਭਾਵੇਂ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਅਤੇ ਦਾਨਵ ਆਪਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਰਾ ਹਨ, ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਵੈਰ-ਵਿਰੋਧਤਾ ਸਦਾ ਦੀ ਹੈ। ਐਸੇ ਹਾਲਾਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਂ ਵੈਰੀ ਪੱਖ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੀ ਧੀ ਦਾ ਸੰਬੰਧ ਕਿਵੇਂ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰ ਕਰਾਂ?
