अत्र गोव्रतिनो विप्रा: स्वाध्यायाम्नायकर्शिता: । त्यक्तप्राणा जितस्वर्गा निवसन्ति महर्षय:

Transliteration

atra govratino viprāḥ svādhyāyāmnāyakaṛśitāḥ | tyaktaprāṇā jitasvargā nivasanti maharṣayaḥ ||

Translation

ਇੱਥੇ ਗੋਵ੍ਰਤ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਮਹਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਵੱਸਦੇ ਹਨ—ਸਵਾਧਿਆਇ ਅਤੇ ਪਰੰਪਰਾਗਤ ਵੇਦ-ਅਧਿਐਨ ਨਾਲ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕੇ; ਪ੍ਰਾਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਵੀ ਪਰਵਾਹ ਨਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ; ਅਤੇ ਤਪੱਸਿਆ ਦੇ ਬਲ ਨਾਲ ਸਵਰਗ-ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਜਿੱਤ ਚੁੱਕੇ।
