एवमेव कुले जाता: पावकोपमतेजस: । क्षमावन्तो निराकारा: काष्ठेडग्निरिव शेरते

Transliteration

evam eva kule jātāḥ pāvakopama-tejasaḥ | kṣamāvanto nirākārāḥ kāṣṭhe 'gnir iva śerate ||

Translation

ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੁਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੰਮੇ ਪਾਂਡਵ—ਅੱਗ ਵਰਗੇ ਤੇਜਸਵੀ—ਖ਼ਿਮਾਵਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਹਰੋਂ ਨਿਰਾਡੰਬਰ ਰਹਿ ਕੇ, ਲੱਕੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੁਕੀ ਅੱਗ ਵਾਂਗ ਗੁਪਤ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਟਿਕੇ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ।
