तमहं गीर्भिरिष्टाभि: पुन: पुनररिंदम | अयाचं भृगुशार्दूलं न चैव प्रशशाम सः

Transliteration

tam ahaṁ gīrbhir iṣṭābhiḥ punaḥ punar ariṁdama | ayācaṁ bhṛguśārdūlaṁ na caiva praśaśāma saḥ ||

Translation

ਹੇ ਸ਼ਤ੍ਰੁਦਮਨ! ਮੈਂ ਭ੍ਰਿਗੁ-ਸ਼ਾਰਦੂਲ ਪਰਸ਼ੁਰਾਮ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਮੁੜ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿਕਰ ਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਬਚਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ; ਪਰ ਉਹ ਰਤਾ ਭਰ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਾਂਤ ਨਾ ਹੋਏ।
