मुचुकुन्दस्य राजर्षेरददात् पृथिवीमिमाम् | पुरा वैश्रवण: प्रीतो न चासौ तां गृहीतवान्
mucukundasya rājarṣer adadāt pṛthivīm imām | purā vaiśravaṇaḥ prīto na cāsau tāṁ gṛhītavān |
ਪੁਰਾਤਨ ਸਮੇਂ ਧਨ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਪਤੀ ਵੈਸ਼੍ਰਵਣ (ਕੁਬੇਰ) ਰਾਜਰਿਸ਼ੀ ਮੁਚੁਕੁੰਦ ਉੱਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਇਹ ਸਾਰੀ ਧਰਤੀ ਦੇਣ ਲੱਗਾ; ਪਰ ਮੁਚੁਕੁੰਦ ਨੇ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਸਵੀਕਾਰ ਨਾ ਕੀਤਾ।
