अध्याय १२२ — कृष्णस्य दुर्योधनं प्रति नीत्युपदेशः
Kṛṣṇa’s Ethical Counsel to Duryodhana
येन त्वां नाभिजानन्ति ततोऊज्ञातोडसि पातितः । प्रीत्यैव चासि दौहिवत्रैस्तारितस्त्वमिहागत:
yena tvāṁ nābhijānanti tato 'jñāto 'si pātitaḥ | prītyaiva cāsi dauhitrais tāritas tvam ihāgataḥ ||
ਜਿਸ ਦੋਸ਼ ਕਰਕੇ ਉਹ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਪਛਾਣ ਨਾ ਸਕੇ, ਉਸੇ ਕਰਕੇ ਤੂੰ ਸਭ ਲਈ ਅਜਾਣ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਸਵਰਗ ਤੋਂ ਡਿੱਗਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਪਰ ਤੇਰੇ ਦੌਹਿਤਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਕੇਵਲ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ-ਵਸ਼ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਬਚਾ ਲਿਆ; ਇਸ ਲਈ ਤੂੰ ਮੁੜ ਇੱਥੇ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈਂ।
