बहुविघ्न: सुरा: काल: काल: कालं॑ नयिष्यति । गर्वितो बलवांश्षापि नहुषो वरसंश्रयात्‌

Transliteration

bahuvighnaḥ surāḥ kālaḥ kālaḥ kālaṁ nayiṣyati | garvito balavānś cāpi nahuṣo varasaṁśrayāt ||

Translation

ਹੇ ਦੇਵਗਣੋ! ਸਮਾਂ ਅਨੇਕਾਂ ਵਿਘਨਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਿਆ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕਾਲ ਹੀ ਕਾਲ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਿਯਤ ਅੰਤ ਵੱਲ ਲੈ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਤੁਹਾਡੇ ਵਰਦਾਨ ਦੇ ਆਸਰੇ ਨਹੁਸ਼ ਬਲਵਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਹੰਕਾਰੀ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ; ਪਰ ਕਾਲ ਹੀ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੌਤ ਦੇ ਜਬੜਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ।
