सर्वथा तोषयेद् भक्त्या वाचकं गुरुमात्मन: । देवता: कीर्तयेत् सर्वा नरनारायणौ तथा
sarvathā toṣayed bhaktyā vācakaṃ gurum ātmanaḥ | devatāḥ kīrtayet sarvā nara-nārāyaṇau tathā ||
ਕਥਾ-ਵਾਚਕ ਆਪਣਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਹੈ; ਇਸ ਲਈ ਭਗਤੀ-ਭਾਵ ਨਾਲ ਹਰ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਸਭ ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਨਰ-ਨਾਰਾਇਣ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਕਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।
