गामेकां निष्कसंयुक्तां ब्राह्मणाय निवेदयेत् । हरिवंशकी समाप्ति होनेपर एक हजार ब्राह्मणोंको भोजन कराये तथा स्वर्णमुद्रासहित एक गौ ब्राह्मणको दान दे

ਵੈਸ਼ੰਪਾਯਨ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ—ਹਰਿਵੰਸ਼ ਦੇ ਪਾਠ ਦੀ ਸਮਾਪਤੀ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਇੱਕ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭੋਜਨ ਕਰਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਵਰਨ-ਨਿਸ਼ਕ ਸਮੇਤ ਇੱਕ ਗਾਂ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਨੂੰ ਦਾਨ ਦੇਵੇ। ਇਹ ਦਾਨ-ਧਰਮ ਪੁੰਨਦਾਇਕ ਹੈ—ਪਵਿੱਤਰ ਵਿਦਿਆ ਦਾ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣ ਸਮੁਦਾਇ ਦੀ ਪਾਲਣਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
