यो वाप्यस्थिरसंकल्पो बुद्धिमानागतागम: । उपायज्ञोडपि नाल॑ स कर्म प्रापयितुं चिरम्
yo vāpy asthira-saṅkalpo buddhimān āgata-āgamaḥ | upāya-jño 'pi nālaṃ sa karma prāpayituṃ ciram ||
ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਸੰਕਲਪ ਅਡੋਲ ਨਹੀਂ, ਉਹ ਬੁੱਧੀਮਾਨ, ਸ਼ਾਸਤਰਾਂ ਤੇ ਪਰੰਪਰਾਵਾਂ ਦਾ ਜਾਣਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਉਪਾਅਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਪੁਣ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਵੀ ਲੰਮੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਕੋਈ ਕੰਮ ਪੂਰਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ।
