तद्राज्ये राज्यकामानां नान्यो धर्म: सनातन: । ऋते रक्षां तु विस्पष्टां रक्षा लोकस्य धारिणी
tad rājye rājyakāmānāṁ nānyo dharmaḥ sanātanaḥ | ṛte rakṣāṁ tu vispaṣṭāṁ rakṣā lokasya dhāriṇī ||
ਜੋ ਰਾਜੇ ਰਾਜ ਦੀ ਇੱਛਾ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਅਤੇ ਰਾਜਧਾਰਾ ਸੰਭਾਲਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਰਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਜਾ ਦੀ ਸਾਫ਼ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਸ਼ਾਲੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਨਾ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਸਨਾਤਨ ਧਰਮ ਨਹੀਂ। ਰੱਖਿਆ ਹੀ ਲੋਕ ਨੂੰ ਧਾਰਨ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ; ਪ੍ਰਜਾ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਕਰਕੇ ਹੀ ਰਾਜਾ ਕ੍ਰਮ, ਨਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਦੀ ਥਿਰਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਕਾਇਮ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ।
