पूजयामास तांश्वापि विधिवद्‌ भूरिदक्षिण:

Transliteration

vaiśampāyana uvāca | pūjayāmāsa tān śv api vidhivad bhūridakṣiṇaḥ |

Translation

ਫਿਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਦੱਖਿਣਾ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਰਾਜਾ ਯੁਧਿਸ਼ਠਿਰ ਨੇ ਵੇਦ-ਅਧਿਐਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਿਪੁਣ, ਧੀਰਜ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ੀਲ ਨਾਲ ਯੁਕਤ ਬ੍ਰਾਹਮਣਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਸਵਸਤਿਵਾਚਨ ਕਰਵਾ ਕੇ, ਵਿਧੀ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਦਾਰ ਦਾਨ-ਦੱਖਿਣਾ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ੀ।
